The coronavirus has arrived in Africa: its spread on the continent is inevitable and the mortality rate is likely to be 3 times higher here. ALIMA doctors are taking action. ALIMA is an International medical NGO transforming humanitarian medicine in Africa.

As health systems are more fragile, equipment and staff are insufficient, the NGO fears a mortality rate linked to Covid-19, 3 to 5 times higher than in the rest of the world.
